Patricks Day starring Moe Dunford

Moe Dunford who was nominated for the Bingham Ray New Talent Award at the Galway Film Fleadh 2014 for his role as Patrick in Terry McMahon’s excellent second feature Patrick’s Day, attended the Irish premiere of the movie in Galway last weekend. A huge hit with audiences and critics alike (Donald Clarke, Irish Times calls Moe’s performance ‘excellent’ and described the movie as “an interesting, original, ultimately moving take on mental illness…..I recommend Patrick’s Day with some enthusiasm (and they can quote me on that).”) the movie went on to win the Best Irish Feature Award (co-winner with Glassland) at the Festival. Patrick’s Day had already been warmly received at the SXSW Festival in Austin, Texas earlier this year (with strong reviews from the Hollywood Reporter and others) and at the Edinburgh International Film Festival where it received rave reviews. Moe is currently filming the series regular role of Aethelwulf in season 3 of Vikings for History Channel/MGM which will air in late 2014.
