Joe O’Shea is a freelance journalist and broadcaster. Originally from Cork, Joe has worked in various areas of the media for two decades. Currently a columnist with the Irish Daily Star Newspaper, he is also a regular feature writer for The Irish Independent and a regular guest on radio shows including The Last Word with Matt Cooper and The Marian Finucane Show (RTE).
On TV, he recently devised and presented a one-off, hour-long documentary on vanity and the Irish male, titled The Perfect Irishman, for RTE and is a regular guest on The Social with Craig Doyle. Joe was also the roving reporter on the most recent season of The Consumer Show on RTE 1.
Joe also worked for two seasons on the RTE 1 early evening show Seoige & O’Shea.
