Nick Lee is from Monaghan and now lives in London.
He has recent stage work includes: Andrey in Three Sisters directed by David Leveaux (Abbey Theatre,Dublin); Dmitry Karamazov in Delirium by Enda Walsh (Theatre O/UK Tour)Shawn Keogh in The Playboy of the Western World directed by Garry Hynes (Druid/Tokyo International Arts Festival/Perth International Arts Festival, Australia); Empress of India by Stuart Carolan directed by Garry Hynes (Druid); DruidSynge: The Complete Plays of JM Synge directed by Garry Hynes (Galway,Dublin, Edinburgh, Inis Meain, Guthrie Theater Minneapolis & most recently at the Lincoln Center Festival in New York City); The Year of the Hiker directed by Garry Hynes (Druid/Irish Tour); as Michael Hegarty in The Freedom of the City (Finborough theatre, London); The Legend of Devlin Cassidy/Moonlight Mickeys (Calipo Theatre and Picture Co.) ; as Patrick Kavanagh in The Green Fool (Upstate Theatre Project);The Illusion (Randolf SD/Project Arts Centre, Dublin). Nick will soon appear in The Dead School by Pat McCabe, directed by Padraic McIntyre for Livin’ Dred Theatre Company at the Tricycle Theatre, London in March 2010.
Film and TV includes: Nick most recently appeared as Padraig Burke in Single Handed: The Stolen Child(Touchpaper Films/RTE); he also appeared as Michael Collins in Frongoch- University of Revolution (TG4/S4C); and as James Lester in the final series of Bachelors Walk (Accomplice/RTE). Nick is currently appearing in a recurring role in Season Two of RAW on RTE, produced by Ecosse TV for RTE.
