Biography – Elaine graduated from the Gaiety School of Acting Diploma course (2004) and since then has appeared as Dearbhla on Love is a Drug a new TV mini-series for Rough Magic Films/RTE2, in the Dublin Festival Fringe show Suddenly Last Summer at the Focus Theatre and as Audie in the Galloglass production of Tom Murphy’s The Sanctuary Lamp directed by Caroline Fitzgerald. Elaine wast recently nominated by the Irish Times Theatre Awards 2006 in the Best Support Actress category for her performance as Celia in Classic Stage Ireland’s production of As You Like It, directed by Andy Hinds at the Helix Theatre in 2005. Elaine recently appeared as Mairead in the first Irish production of Martin McDonagh’s The Lieutenant of Inishmore directed by Andrew Flynn for the Town Hall Theatre, Galway and on tour. Elaine most recently appeared in John Breen’s new play Falling Out of Love directed by Mikel Murfi for Yew Tree Theatre company on tour across Ireland. Elaine appeared in the RTE pilot of The Politician, an RTE TV pilot written by Arthur Matthews and Paul Woodfull and went on to appear in the TV series based on that pilot, Val Falvey, which will aired RTE at the end of 2009.
