One of three writers chosen to participate in the 2017 prestigious Guiding Lights programme led by Academy Award winning industry professionals. Demian Fox is a screenwriter and story producer whose credits include feature films “Discoverdale” (Ashmore Films – Best International Feature, Galway Film Fleadh 2013, Golden Reel Award, Nevada International Film Festival 2012) and “From the Dark” (Co-Story, Workshed Films). Other work currently in development includes: “Tandem” (Blinder Films), “Send in the Clowns” (Fastnet Films and Welded Tandem Picture Company), “Extra Ordinary” (Blinder Films), “The Winter Lake” (Script Consultant, Tailored Films), and “Down From The Mountains” feature horror (Screenplay).
TV credits include, crime drama “Red Rock” (story producer, scriptwriter), soap opera “Fair City” (story writer, story editor), and TV comedies “Republic of Telly”, “This is Ireland”, “Foul Play” and “Dead Cat Bounce”)
Fox is also a founding member of comedy group Dead Cat Bounce, with whom he co-wrote six internationally touring stage shows (Time Out Jury Prize, Sydney Comedy Festival 2010, Time Out People’s Choice Award, Sydney Comedy Festival 2011), the comedy play “Clowns” (Fishamble New Writing Award Nominee, Dublin Fringe Festival 2012), and three live albums. His articles have been published in The Dubliner and he is a weekly contributor to RTE 2’s “Republic of Telly”.
