Hang on to your minds world, David O’Doherty, the viscount of rumpled whimsy, the marble fawn of tiny keyboard based musical comedy is coming. This is his first tour. Please come and see him. It’ll be shit otherwise.
There will be some sitting, there will be some standing, there will be two small keyboards and a chair. There may be a song called Bangin’.

Some facts about David O’Doherty
1. He was born twelve days before Tiger Woods.
2. He shares his name with a mathematician, a violinist and one of Australia’s top barristers.
3. If David had been born a girl he would have been called Bridget.
4. David O’Doherty has an excellent rapport with most pets.

David O’Doherty first attempted stand up comedy in 1998. In 1999 he won Channel 4’s newcomer competition. In 2008 he won the if.comedy award for best show at the Edinburgh Fringe.
He has performed in Melbourne, New York and Iceland. He has toured with Demetri Martin and Noel Fielding. His recent TV appearances include Never Mind the Buzzcocks (BBC2), Comedy Live Presents (Channel 4) and his own series The Modest Adventures of David O’Doherty (RTE2). He has written a book and a play for children. He is currently writing a book about pandas and will appear in the forthcoming feature film ‘A Film With Me in It’ with his brother Mark and Dylan Moran.
