Brian can next be seen in BOUDICA, a new play by Tristan Bernays and directed by Eleanor Rhode, at Shakespeare’s Globe (8th Sept – 1st Oct 2017), as part of Emma Rice’s final summer season as Artistic Director.
Praise for SNAPSHOT at The Hope Theatre:
“Martin is charismatic and charming as James, and has an endearing laddish quality about him. He conveys James’ confusion excellently and is the only one in the piece we truly empathise with.” A Younger Theatre
“Martin is a charming talker with an easy-going, self-centred manner.” British Theatre Guide
“Extra acting honours do have to go to Brian Martin as James whose performance is a profound one.” Boyz Magazine ★★★★
“Brian Martin shines as James. Through the good, bad, and complicated situations enacted on stage, his boyish charm and passionate demeanour carry us through each scene with ease and, at times, conflicted allegiance.” The Peg Review ★★★★
“Martin’s Irish charisma is undeniable, and his character’s haplessness is enticing.” The Plays The Thing UK
Brian trained at LAMDA. He holds a BA (Hons) in English Literature and Drama Studies from Trinity College, Dublin.
